Frequently asked questions
What do I need to play?
First and foremost - the internet. If it’s stable and fast, even better! Second, a device to act as your screen where you’ll watch the questions (this can be a computer, a laptop connected to your TV screen, a tablet, or a smartphone). Third, a device to submit your answers (a smartphone or a tablet is, in our opinion, the absolute easiest option).
How many people can be on the team?
An unlimited number! Gather your friends, neighbors, and colleagues... because as we all know, two heads (or ten) are better than one. Just keep in mind - one registration equals one team. One purchase means one "answer buzzer" (phone/tablet) to submit your answers. Feeling competitive and want to go head-to-head from different rooms? We’d love that! But in that case, everyone will need their own registration.
How long does it take?
A standard game lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Themed games, or games featuring a bonus round, take around 2 hours. Don't worry, there will be a 10-minute break halfway through to grab a refill or clear some space for new knowledge.
Do I need to download any software to play?
Nope! You’ll be able to watch the live game stream directly via Zoom - just select the option to play in your browser and you're good to go. You will submit your answers on the buzzerpad.eu page, so there's absolutely no need to register or download anything.
What if I experience technical issues during the game?
Firstly, don't panic - stress is not allowed on the sofa! Start with refreshing your browser page (Refresh/F5) on both Zoom and your answer buzzerpad.eu. 90% of the time, this fixes everything instantly. If the issue persists, quickly drop a message in the live chat or contact our moderator - we’ll help sort it out in the background while you keep your focus on the next question.
Will anyone see me?
No, you can skip putting on any pants. This is a webinar format - you can see and hear us, but we can't see you.
